The Children's Handbell
Choir will rehearse on
alternate Sundays
beginning on Jan 29th. The
Adult Choir will rehearse

Annual Meeting to set up a
special collection on the
first Sunday of each month
dedicated to defraying the
cost of our oil bill. If
you would like to
contribute, please utilize
the “Bridging the Gaps”
envelopes and mark your
check with the words “Oil
Donation”.
The ECW is selling Buy

cards to Old Country
Buffet. For $10 you can
purchase five Buy one, get
one free buffet cards. The
“By ones” cost is $8.29
for breakfast, $7.29
lunches and $10.79 for a
full buffet (beverages are

The Episcopal Church
Women of the Diocese award
scholarship(s) annually
from their Memorial Fund
(comprised of donations
for church members who
have died). Applicants
must be female, Episcopal
church members for at
least one year, and must
be pursuing a graduate or
professional school level
degree. The course of
study must be in the
fields of Theology,
Counseling, Social Work,
Health Administration,
Nursing or Medicine. The
due date for applications
is May 31, 2012. Please
contact the office for
further information and/or
application.
Donations of baked goods
are needed for the Pancake
Supper. Please label your
items “Pancake Supper” and
bring them to the kitchen
by Sunday, February 19th.

February 21st is Shrove
or Fat Tuesday. Christ
Church will hold its
Annual Pancake Supper
between 4 and 7 pm. The
menu includes pancakes,
eggs, sausage, sweet
cinnamon apple sauce. All
are welcome.
We need many hands to
serve this fabulous feast.
From set-up and
preparations early in the
day, to the serving line
and waiting tables, to
dishwashing (just a
little) and clean up,
there are many ways to
lend a hand. Even if you
are unable to be a helper,
be sure to come over and
eat. Hand out flyers and
invite others that you
know to join us. And don’t
forget to stop in the
thrift shop for a bargain
or two.
Ash Wednesday Services –
Please make plans to
attend our Ash Wednesday
services February 22nd at
12 noon and 7:30 pm.
Lenten Bible Study –
John George will lead our
Lenten Bible Study on
Wednesday evenings
following Ash Wednesday,
running up to the
Wednesday before Palm
Sunday.We will be having
another Bible Book Club
this spring, focused on
the Lenten Series.
Subjects will also include
the Stations of the Cross
and what we believe and
practice as Episcopalians.
We will reflect and
discern in our Lenten
Series and we will end
with Stations of the
Cross.
The Men's Ministry will
hold a Sunday Brunch
following the 9 am service
on March 4. More
information will be
available soon.
